SPLC takes down their “Field Guide” to anti-Muslim extremists

Possibly getting wind of an upcoming lawsuit the Southern Poverty Law Center has apparently blinked and removed their October 2016 “Field Guide,” that included yours truly, from their website.

maajid nawaz

The SPLC listed Nawaz as an anti-Muslim extremist and he is reportedly planning to sue them.

The Field Guide was meant to let the media know who they were supposed to shun when seeking comment on anything to do with Islam.

If you visit my post on the ‘honor’ here you will see that the link to the news no longer works.

Feds find network bringing Syrians illegally across southern border

I’ve written many times over the years about how the world (not just Mexicans and Central Americans) is arriving at our southern border to seek asylum (if caught).  I’ve mentioned Somalis and Iraqis on other occasions and now it is Syrians according to a report in the Washington Times (hat tip: Joanne).

You might want to visit a post I wrote in 2011 in which I suggest the illegals know how to use the system and ask for asylum because they were taught the system. I believe there exists a cabal of immigration lawyers working closely with our usual gang of NGOs facilitating the process.

Washington Times:

The Treasury Department slapped sanctions Wednesday on a Syrian man and his criminal syndicate, blaming them for smuggling “hundreds” of illegal immigrants from Syria and Lebanon into Mexico and then helping them to jump the border into the U.S.

trump and sessions

I’m not one of those wishing to oust Attorney General Sessions. This is the kind of work I want him to do.  How we handle immigration is more significant for America’s future then if he was embroiled in the Russian meddling non-issue.

IPT Exclusive: U.S.-based Imam Advocates Violence Against Israel in Anti-Semitic Sermon

An extremist imam used his Friday prayer last week to call on Muslims and Palestinians to disavow non-violent protest against Israel. But the imam was not preaching from the West Bank or Gaza Strip. This imam was yet another spiritual leader espousing

Yes, “Italy Must Remember Its … Past” with Islam

FrontPage Magazine Although the conflict between Islam and the West is a continuation of history, the strategy of those who seek to whitewash and thus empower Islam is to fixate on peaceful aberrations while suppressing the continuum of hostility. Thus, in “Italy must remember its pluralist past,” Akbar Ahmed, Chair of Islamic Studies at American […]

Miliband: US refugee admissions program under Trump is managed with malevolence and competence

When I saw this Washington Post Op-ed penned by British National David Miliband whose organization, one of nine federal refugee contractors*** (the International Rescue Committee) depends on just short of a half a billion! (see below) from the US Treasury each year, I thought it was kind of dumb to bite the hand that feeds them (and offers him, Miliband, a comfortable annual income of nearly $700,000).

David Miliband the king

Perhaps I am wrong, maybe David Miliband is giving most of his nearly $700,000 annual salary as charitable gifts to the refugees he sends to your towns.  Does anyone know?

But, this is what the arrogant and entitled Far Left does because they have come to expect those millions as their just rewards for their ‘humanitarian’ zeal.

Another 50 of Australia’s rejected asylum seekers are on the way to Any Town, USA

The newest batch of 50 will join the 233 already here.  An Australian official who was originally involved with making the “dumb” deal with Barack Obama predicts the US will take all 1,250 and maybe more!

For new readers who have never heard of this incredibly stupid arrangement, see my entire archive of previous posts by clicking here.

australian detainees

The Trump Administration has selected 50 more for you to welcome to your towns and cities. Where are they being located? It is a secret!

UK: “Teacher Handbook” Supporting Extremism?

Britain's educational authorities also failed to note the underlying message of the Teacher Handbook: that jihadist violence is justified when committed by those who believe themselves to be victims. This is a crucial point: it accepts at face value what

90 Years In, The Muslim Brotherhood Faces An Uncharted Future

The Muslim Brotherhood has managed to weather many storms during nine decades in Egypt. Presidents Gamal Abdel Nasser, Anwar Sadat and Hosni Mubarak all tried to contain and suppress the Islamist movement, which ultimately seeks a global Muslim Caliphate

Lutherans hire “transition” expert to get LIRS back on track

Earlier this month Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service announced a transition CEO (you could call him a fixer) in the wake of the sudden departure of former CEO Linda Hartke.

Can he save the organization?

Linda Hartke

Linda Hartke resigned amid internal turmoil.

Michael Patrick Leahy at Breitbart reports the story here:

Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS), one of the nine voluntary agencies (VOLAGs)*** who, until the current fiscal year, have collectively been paid more than $1 billion annually by the federal government to resettle refugees, has named an interim CEO after the previous CEO, Linda Hartke, resigned abruptly in February.

Pew does a remix of its 2017 data on US Muslim vs. Foreign-born Muslim numbers

I would have to spend all day analyzing this data and I don’t have the time.  So I’m throwing out the latest from Pew on Muslim racial and ethnic makeup in the US for your consideration.

But before I get to the latest (glowing) report (remember it doesn’t look like a new study, just a rehash of 2017 numbers), this is the report they refer back to, click here, posted in July of 2017.

This paragraph is worth repeating, although Pew doesn’t repeat it in this latest piece.

When asked whether targeting and killing civilians can be justified to further a political, social or religious cause, 84% of U.S. Muslims say such tactics can rarely (8%) or never (76%) be justified, while 12% say such violence can sometimes (7%) or often (5%) be justified.

Sounds small doesn’t it? Only 12% say violence is sometimes or often justified.  But assume that there are 3 million Muslims in the US and consider that 12% represents 360,000 Muslims who believe that!

Here is the latest entitled:

Let Turkish Scholars Speak: See What Islamism Is About

Zogby: They are ready! “Muslim blue wave” going to the voting booth for Muslim candidates

This article at Financial Review reminded me of the story I first wrote in 2007 about a Frederick, MD Imam going to Saudi Arabia and reporting to the Saudis that they were ready then to elect 30 Muslim mayors by 2015.  It didn’t happen of course.

Emerging Islamist Political Clout Accelerates Europe’s Self-Islamization

Russian writer at Bloomberg: Hungarians are xenophobic and old

And, according to Leonid Bershidsky writing at Bloomberg, they better get with it because they will demographically die if they don’t admit young Muslim migrant workers.

That is the gist of a too long opinion piece at Bloomberg.  I’ve snipped just a bit of the article entitled:

Hungary Is Winning Its War on Muslim Immigrants

Is Hungarian Zoltan Kovacs “xenophobic” or a realistic observer of the present and past!

UN Ambassador Haley: Most Syrians just want to go home

Clearly The Guardian doesn’t want to hear that bit of information.

Frankly, if there weren’t nine federal refugee contractors being paid on a per refugee head basis to bring refugees to your towns and cities, maybe then a realistic policy could be advanced to care for (legitimate) refugees near their homes so that returning them to their homes and to their familiar cultures would be the number one priority of humanitarian care.

Perhaps if this pattern could be broken now—Middle East wars=flow of migrants to the West—it would be a very important legacy for Trump to leave us with.

Trump and Nikki

Trump and Haley could break the pattern! No more knee jerk admission of ‘refugees’ with every Middle East conflict.
