Because I’ve been telling you in advance about the pow-wow in Brussels yesterday about the migrant invasion of Europe and what the EU will do about it, I’m compelled to give you an update of the disappointing results.
They talked and talked, indeed they talked all night, and came up with what the NY Timeseven says is a ‘deal’ with “sketchy” details.
Migrants on the “Aquarius” turned away by Italy precipitating the EU’s latest migration crisis TALKS.
Besties French Prez Macron and Merkel. Macron in la-la land: “We are living through a political crisis more than a migratory crisis today.”
I’m struck here by the similarity to our situation on the Mexican border where Donald Trump is both trying to stem the flow in to the US, and attempting to kill the catch and release policy of previous presidents (the major pull factor for those gambling on entering the US).
Italy’s hard-line interior minister on Thursday refused port to a Dutch-flagged rescue boat with 224 migrants on board, a week after turning away another foreign ship, the Aquarius, carrying 630 migrants.
Overshadowed by the huge controversy surrounding the rescue boat ‘Aquarius’ this past week, is the news that a US naval vessel has picked up 40 migrants off the coast of Libya, and as of this writing is stuck with them.
Other so-called ‘rescue boats’ won’t take them fearing that they will be blocked from landing in nearby European ports.
Yesterday I told you that the Italian government refused entry to a so-called “rescue ship” that had picked up over 600, mostly African illegal aliens, from waters off Libya.
These transport ships have had free passage to Italy for years, but all that is ending now that the Italians have elected a government willing to save Italy for Italians!
The island nation of Malta (an EU country) also refused the ship and its cargo.
Know that Malta has a sweet deal with the US State Department where we have been taking hundreds of their rejected ‘refugees’ to the US in a possibly illegal arrangement without any explanation about why their overflow is our problem. See my Malta archive which goes back ten years by clicking here.
Here is the news with its usual Leftward spin from NPR (Italian nationalists bad, Spanish socialists good).
While the media is busy with the run-up to the show in Singapore, and prior to that the G7 in Canada that saw social media in a flutter over the failure of Justin’s fake eyebrow that came unglued in a presser attacking Trump (yes, apparently the prime minister of Canada augments his eyebrows with bushy black fake ones!), some monumental shift may have occurred in Europe in one week….
Italy is headed to the political right and George Soros can’t stand it!
Soros’ worldwide push to eliminate borders is backfiring as citizens with national pride push back through the election process!
Of course the driving force for that rightward political swing is the increased anger by the electorate there about how Italy is carrying an unfair (yes!) burden as a key landing zone for the invasion from Africa.
Steve Bannon, Trump’s right hand man during the run-up to Trump’s upset victory in the US presidential race in 2016, is traveling around Europe spreading a populist message painfully aware that Europe is in deep trouble and if globalist-instigated migration to the continent continues, Western Civilization itself will be in danger of collapsing in this century.
That reminds me, I recently watched the excellent documentary film, ‘The Fight of Our Lives.‘ You can order it here(or attend a showing near you). Using interviews with some very smart people, it lays out the threat from without and the threat from within to our western way of life. Needless to say, the invasion of Europe is a big part of the film.
